*Adams Avenue/Bushard Street: Two people were reported acting
suspiciously in the flood control channel at 9:12 a.m. Saturday.
*Alabama Street: A man reported 10 to 15 people having a party in a
Jacuzzi in his neighbor’s backyard in the 1100 block at 4:37 a.m. Sunday.
*Arnett Drive/Newland Street: A neighbor reported loud noise and
“hooting and hollering” from a party at a nearby home at 4:21 a.m.
Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard: A man reportedly got out of his green Ford Taurus
and urinated in the drive-thru in the 17500 block at 2:18 a.m. Sunday.
*Cedarwood Drive: A man reported juveniles swimming in his apartment
complex’s pool and throwing furniture around and into the pool in the
6600 block at 2:01 p.m. Saturday.
*Cornell Drive: Juveniles were reported riding Pee Wee Suzuki toy
motorcycles recklessly on the sidewalk and in planters in the 6000 block
at 6:35 p.m. Sunday.
*Drey Lane: A man reportedly threw a plastic Coke bottle from his
vehicle and the bottle exploded in the 17300 block at 5:14 p.m. Sunday.
*Elmira Avenue: A woman reported that a suspicious-looking man in his
70s came to the door selling rugs at the home she was house sitting in
the 200 block at 10:55 a.m. Sunday.
*Elmira Avenue: A woman reported her neighbor was sandblasting his
house for more than three hours and felt the noise was unreasonable in
the 200 block at 3:53 p.m. Sunday.
*Florida Street: A suspicious person was reported throwing unknown
items at houses in the 1900 block at 4:47 a.m. Sunday.
*Goldenwest Street: A woman reported a dark blue car blocking her gate
and trash area, preventing the trash truck from collecting her trash in
the 16500 block at 9:39 a.m. Saturday.
*Goldenwest Street/Pacific Coast Highway: A man reportedly left his
car keys under a friend’s car while he went surfing and returned to find
his silver 2002 Nissan XTerra gone at 12:49 p.m. Sunday.
*Outrigger Circle: A woman reported water leaking excessively from the
water main in the 4400 block at 11:59 a.m. Saturday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A man was reportedly spotted climbing on a
hotel’s roof to retrieve a kite in the 21100 block at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.
*Pacific Coast Highway/Magnolia Street: A woman reported that the
crosswalk cycle was too short and she couldn’t make it across with her
baby in a stroller at 5:20 p.m. Saturday.
*17th Street: A woman reported a plant was stolen off her balcony
during the night and feared the subject would return for the other plants
in the 2800 block at 8:21 a.m. Saturday.
*Trudy Lane: A man reported graffiti on the outside walls of his
residence in the 16500 block at 10:09 a.m. Saturday.
*Warner Avenue/Newland Street: A man reported a large hole in the
middle of the street that cars were swerving to avoid hitting at 11:03
a.m. Saturday.
