Baseball camp set to start

Youngsters ages 11 years and up will have the chance to receive

individual instruction when the Huntington Beach High School Baseball

Camp will get underway Monday.

The camp will be held on the Oiler baseball fields and is run by the

Oiler baseball program.

Instruction will be offered Monday through Thursday, from 1:30 to 4:30

p.m., daily.

“We are hoping to get kids out to our camp and get the chance to see

what the future holds for our baseball program,” said Huntington Beach

High Coach Benji Medure. “I think it’s going to be an exciting camp.”

Medure and Cory Burton, an Oiler assistant coach, will give

instruction to the campers.

The cost per camper is $125.
