COSTA MESA
*Bear Street: Two incidents of auto theft were reported from the same
address in the 2900 block Sunday. One was reported at 1:19 a.m. and the
other at 3:25 a.m.
*Bristol Street: Robbery was reported at South Coast Plaza at 10:41
a.m. Sunday.
*Bristol Street: A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
burglary at South Coast Plaza at 2:18 p.m. Sunday.
*Governor Street: A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grand
theft auto and vehicle theft in the 800 block at 6:02 p.m. Saturday.
*Harbor Boulevard: A 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of
embezzlement and grand theft in the 3100 block at 4:53 p.m. Sunday.
*Harbor Boulevard: Indecent exposure was reported in the 2400 block at
11:11 p.m. Sunday.
*Newport Boulevard: A 24-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were
arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance in the 1800
block at 12:55 a.m. Saturday.
*Newport Boulevard and East Wilson Street: A 21-year-old man was
arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm in public, carrying a
concealed weapon in his car and possessing a switchblade knife and a
small amount of marijuana near the intersection at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
*Walnut Avenue: A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime and grand theft
in the 1000 block at 4:53 p.m. Sunday.
*West 18th Street: A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
possessing a dangerous weapon, trespassing and in relation to two
out-of-area warrants in the 700 block at 10:39 p.m. Sunday.
*West 19th Street: An assault was reported in the 600 block at 6:26
p.m. Sunday.
*West 19th Street and Pomona Avenue: A 36-year-old man was arrested on
suspicion of having an open container of alcohol in a public park near
the intersection at 8 a.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
*Balboa Boulevard and West Coast Highway: A hit-and-run was reported
at 2:23 p.m. Monday.
*Circle Drive: Illegal fireworks were reported in the 2600 block at
4:33 p.m. Monday.
*Ford and Prairie roads: A noninjury traffic collision was reported at
3:34 p.m. Monday.
*Isabella Terrace: A hit-and-run involving a parked vehicle was
reported at 3:27 p.m. Monday.
*Residencia: A party caused a disturbance in the 7400 block at 11:40
p.m. Sunday.
*Von Karman Avenue: A commercial burglary was reported in the 4400
block at 8:59 a.m. Monday.
