* Gisler Avenue: A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
indecent exposure in the 1400 block at 12:15 a.m. Thursday.
* Harbor Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 2700 block at
5:29 p.m. Thursday.
* Knowell Place: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block at
1:03 a.m. Friday.
* Maple Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 1900 block at 2:44
p.m. Thursday.
* Maple Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 2200 block at 7:13
p.m. Thursday.
* Monroe Way: An assault was reported in the 3100 block at 4:48 p.m.
Thursday.
* Newport Boulevard: A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a
controlled substance and possessing drugparaphernalia in the 2500 block
at 1:01 a.m. Friday.
* Newport Boulevard: A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
defrauding an innkeeper and resisting arrest in the 1600 block at 9:10
p.m. Thursday.
* San Clemente Drive: A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
beating his girlfriend in the 2500 block at 5:20 a.m. Friday.
* East 20th Street: A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
beating his girlfriend in the 300 block at 11 p.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Dover Drive: A vandalism incident was reported in the 700 block at
5:56 a.m. on Friday.
* Heliotrope Avenue: An attempted home robbery was reported in the 400
block at 8:21 a.m. Friday.
* Hoag Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 100 block at 7:41
Thursday.
* Newport Boulevard: A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
being drunk in public in the 3000 block at 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
* Santa Barbara Drive: An 81-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
being drunk in public in the 800 block at 7:37 p.m. Thursday.
* West Coast Highway: A 28-year-old San Francisco man was arrested on
a drug warrant for cultivating marijuana in that city at the corner of
Riverside Avenue at 1:40 a.m. Friday.
* West Newport Center Drive: Two women, 27 and 28, were arrested on
suspicion of being drunk in public in the 900 block at 4:32 a.m.
