COSTA MESA
* Del Mar Avenue: A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
soliciting labor from a vehicle and presenting false identification to an
officer at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday.
* Gisler Avenue: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of
possessing a controlled substance, a hypodermic needle and being under
the influence of a controlled substance in the 1400 block at 12:40 a.m.
Tuesday.
* Harbor Boulevard: A 31-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were
arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and being
under the influence of a controlled substance in the 2400 block at 12:05
a.m. Wednesday. The 31-year-old was also booked on suspicion of selling
the controlled substance, and his partner was arrested for allegedly
carrying a concealed weapon.
* Hickory Place: An assault was reported in the 2800 block at 5:36
p.m. Tuesday.
* Manistee Drive and Paularino Avenue: A recreational vehicle that was
not registered to a Costa Mesa resident was reportedly parked near the
intersection at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday.
* Mesa Verde Drive: Indecent exposure was reported in the 1500 block
at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday.
* Newport Boulevard and West 19th Street: Two incidents of indecent
exposure were reported near the intersection within an hour of each
other, at 4:33 p.m. and 5:01 p.m. Tuesday.
* Newport Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 1500 block at
4:49 p.m. Tuesday.
* Santa Ana Avenue and Santo Thomas Drive: An auto theft was reported
near the intersection at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday.
* West 19th Street: A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of
assaulting and battery on an officer and resisting an officer in the 700
block at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.
NEWPORT BEACH
38th Street: An attempted burglary was reported in the 100 block at
8:14 a.m. Wednesday.
Balboa Boulevard: Illegal fireworks were reported in the 1800 block at
10:36 p.m. Tuesday.
Bristol Street: A vehicle burglary in progress was reported at the
intersection of Birch Street at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday.
Jamboree Road: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1100 block at
10:23 p.m. Tuesday.
Via Lido: Vandalism was reported in the 3300 block at 5:54 a.m.
Wednesday.
River Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 5500 block at
10:29 a.m. Wednesday.
