WEATHER FORECAST
This may sound familiar, but we’ll start off with low clouds and fog
before clearing up for a beautiful day around noon. Highs will be in the
mid-70s in Costa Mesa and the upper 60s in Newport Beach. The overnight
lows will drop into the upper 50s. We should repeat this pattern
throughout the week.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters today,
with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will start off a typical 10 to 15
knots, but will then increase to 15 to 25 knots, with combined seas of 4
to 8 feet. The same will be found at night.
SURF
It certainly won’t be a great day to wake up early for the board. The
negative tide this morning will hamper already weak conditions.
Otherwise, expect knee- to waist-highs today. Most of the week looks
similar or smaller, though we should pick up with the latest southwest
swell on Friday.
