Grads Talk Back
Mary A. Castillo
“I hope that I end up moving back to Laguna and that it stays the way
it is. I’m very concerned about the development at Crystal Cove and the
area where the I-5 and 405 meet. When my grandma came to visit, she
nearly cried when she saw that the strawberry patch and Christmas tree
lot were gone.”
ASHLEY BURSON, 17
“I hope our country continues to take pride in ourselves after the
events of Sept. 11th. We should never forget about it.”
LAUREN COLLETTI, 17
“I hope to be a minister so I can help kids stay out of drugs and deal
with stress.”
CAMERON HUME, 18
“I’m hoping to graduate from junior college and go to university to
major in engineering or architecture. I want to take care of my mom
because she’s been both a mom and a dad to me and she’s always stuck by
me.”
JOSE ALBARRAN, 19
“In the future I hope people have a more universal understanding of
religion and race. I want my children to grow up in a diverse community
where hatred and violence don’t exist.”
JESSICA RHOADES, 17
