Girls water polo: CdM wins two of three

ALISO VIEJO - The Corona del Mar girls 16-and-under club water polo

team won two games easily and lost one Saturday in the Poseidon

Tournament at Aliso Niguel High.

CdM’s Katie Kubas scored five goals in her team’s 12-1 win over Trap C

and added three more goals in CdM’s 17-1 victory over Set B. CdM lost to

San Diego Shore, 8-5.

Vivian Liao, Camille Hewko and Katya Eadington scored two goals each

in CdM’s win over Trap C, while Katie Lemmerman added one.

Hewko scored five goals in CdM’s victory over Set B, while Jordan Anae

added three. CdM goalie Brittany Fullen recorded 20 saves in three games,

including 14 against San Diego Shore.
