COSTA MESA
Del Mar Avenue and Newport Boulevard: A 22-year-old man was arrested
on suspicion of scavenging through a trash bin at the intersection at
4:55 p.m. Tuesday.
Bristol Street: A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of
forging a prescription, using a stolen credit card and possessing a
controlled substance in the 3100 block at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Cardinal Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 2700 block at 6:21 a.m.
Tuesday.
Baker Street: Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block at 7:25 a.m.
Canyon Drive: A commercial burglary was reported in the 2300 block at
7:35 a.m. Tuesday.
Irvine Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 1600 block at 2:43
p.m. Tuesday.
Doctors Circle: An assault was reported in the 2100 block at 2:49 p.m.
Tuesday.
Newport Boulevard: A commercial burglary was reported in the 1800
block of 6:21 p.m. Tuesday.
Madison Avenue: A home burglary was reported in the 3000 block at 3:38
p.m.

15th Street: Illegal dumping was reported in the 200 block at 5:30
p.m. Wednesday.
Granville Drive: A hit-and-run involving a parked vehicle was reported
in the 1000 block at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
West Balboa Boulevard: Police arrested someone suspected of committing
a petty theft in the 2100 block at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday.
West 15th Street: A vehicle theft was reported in the 800 block at
4:34 p.m. Wednesday.
West Coast Highway: A hit-and-run was reported in the 4600 block at
3:59 p.m. Wednesday.
Dove Street: Fraud was reported in the 1600 block at 1:59 p.m.
Wednesday.
East Ocean Front and E Street: Vandalism involving city property was
reported at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday.
Newport Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 2100 block at
12:13 p.m. Wednesday.
