WEATHER FORECAST
Morning clouds will clear a little by the afternoon, allowing some sun
to shine on this Memorial Day weekend. There will be a high of 68 and a
low of 57. Not great beach weather, but hey, at least it’s not raining.

BOATING FORECAST
There will be areas of morning fog. Expect winds to blow from the
southeast at 10 knots early on, becoming 10 to 15 knots from the south to
southwest in the afternoon. There will be wind waves of 2 feet or less. A
mixed south and west swell will rise to a height of 2 feet. On Sunday
night, the winds should start to become light and variable.
SURF
Mother Nature hasn’t blessed us with great surf for summer’s kickoff
either, as wave conditions are mostly fair with sets in about the 1-3
foot range with occasional bigger waves, but not much. Early morning
conditions are best for this south groundswell and the set waves are
chest to waist high. Maybe next week will be better and bigger.
