day. A notice was left at the owner’s home in the 1000 block at 5:48

p.m., Monday.

* Alta Laguna: A rat with an Easter egg stuck on its head was reported

in a resident’s backyard in the 2000 block at 12:18 p.m., Sunday.

* Broadway: A man was arrested for driving under the influence in the

200 block at 2:06 a.m., Saturday.

* Cliff Drive: A man was arrested for driving under the influence in

the 600 block at 1:36 a.m., Friday.

* Coast Highway: Two men were arrested for public intoxication in the

900 block at 3:37 a.m., Saturday.

* Coast Highway: A man was arrested for possession of more than one

ounce of marijuana in the 30000 block at 3:52 p.m., Thursday.

* Coast Highway: A man was arrested for possession of drug

paraphernalia and for a warrant on a hit-and-run at 6:58 p.m., Friday.

* Coast Highway: A man was arrested for driving under the influence at

the intersection of Sea Cliff Drive at 2:39 a.m., Friday.

* Cypress Drive: Two men were reported fighting over a construction

project in the 400 block at 1:53 p.m., Friday.

* Cypress Street: A man was arrested for driving under the influence

at the intersection of Locust Street at 3:13 a.m., Friday.

* Driftwood Drive: A dead snake was reported in the frontyard of a

residence in the 30000 block at 11:26 a.m., Thursday.

* El Toro: A man was arrested for driving under the influence after he

ran his truck into a light pole at the intersection of Laguna Canyon

Road, 10:42 p.m., Thursday.

* Flora Street: A woman reported that her husband pushed her and would

not let her back into the house in the 400 block at 9:36 p.m., Friday.

* Forest Avenue: A woman was arrested for public intoxication after

refusing to leave a store in the 200 block at 10:42 p.m., Monday.

* Glenneyre: Graffiti was reported on the library’s walls in the 300

block at 9:18 a.m., Thursday.

* Glenneyre: A man was cited for trespassing in the 400 block at 11:15

p.m., Tuesday.

* Irvine Cove Drive: A man who was being transported to ETS got out of

his seat belt and then escaped from police custody when the officer tried

to restrain him. He ran down the street in handcuffs and jumped into the

back seat of a stopped convertible. The driver of the convertible and the

officer subdued the man in the 100 block at 7:03 p.m., Sunday.

* Irvine Cove: A rattlesnake was reported in a resident’s garage in

the 100 block at 7:07 p.m., Monday.

* Laguna Canyon Road: Residents were arrested for spousal battery in

the 2000 block at 1:45 a.m., Saturday.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A rattlesnake was reported in a schoolyard in

the 2000 block at 1:57 p.m., Saturday.

* Legion Street: A woman was cited for possession of a shopping cart

in the 300 block at 8:50 a.m., Monday.

* Main Beach: An older man was lying on the beach in his underwear at

* North Coast Highway: A sick pigeon spitting up birdseed was reported

in the 300 block at 2:13 p.m., Saturday.

* Park Avenue: It was reported that a truck hit a tree in the 2000

block at 7:26 a.m., Monday.

* Shaw’s Cove: A diver in distress was reported at 10:03 a.m., Sunday.

block at 9:17 p.m., Thursday.

* Santa Ana: A dead deer was reported in a resident’s yard in the 1000

four paintings stolen in the 1500 block at 6:56 a.m., Tuesday.

* Thalia: Two men were cited for drinking in public in the 900 block

at 9:03 a.m., Friday.

* Third Street: A woman was reported in violation of a court order in

the 300 block at 1:45 p.m., Saturday.

* Wendt Terrace: A resident reported a deer in her side yard in the

700 block at 8:06 p.m., Thursday.
