Astros edge A’s, 9-8
Deandre Moss singled home Garrett Colsen in the bottom of the sixth
inning to provide the Astros with the winning run in a 9-8 victory over
the A’s in Ocean View Little League weekend action.
Despite the loss, the A’s remained tied for first place in the
division standings.
Randy Guite and Dalton Hintz each went two for three to lead the A’s.

Michael Springer delivered a two-run home run and Kevin Vucinic came
up with a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to
spark the D-backs.
Mariners 2, Yankees 1
Beau Amaral and Cole Ticher combined for the victory for the Mariners.
MINOR A DIVISION
A’s 10, Mariners 0
Andrew Bynum and Sean Guite combined to pitch a perfect game for the
A’s.
Rockies 16, Giants 15
The Rockies outlasted the Giants to take over sole possession of the
division lead.
Padres 9, A’s 8
The Padres pulled out the win by scoring in the bottom of the sixth
inning.

MINOR B DIVISION
A’s 9, Diamondbacks 8
The A’s victory dropped the D-backs from a share of the division lead.
Cardinals 9, Reds 1
The Cardinals’ easy win, coupled with the A’s victory over the
Diamondbacks, gave the Cardinals sole possession of first place.
