Army Spec. Joshua C. Davis, a 1998 Huntington Beach High School

graduate and son of Scott C. Davis of 21851 Newland St. in Huntington

Beach was recently awarded the Army Commendation Medal, given to

individuals having distinguished themselves by acts of heroism,

meritorious achievement or meritorious service. . . . Four local youths

were honored at the 23rd annual Youth Expo, April 19-21, at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center. Siblings Paolo Saglietto, 11, and

Natalia Saglietto, 9, of Huntington Beach received top honors for their

artwork, while J.M. McNulty, 17, of Huntington Beach, and Patrick

Mitchell, 15, of Westminster won first place ribbons in the talent show.

. . . Air Force Airman 1st Class Andrew Rodriguez, a 1998 Edison High School graduate and son of Adolph Rodriguez of 10212 Cynthia Dr.,

Huntington Beach has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base,

San Antonio, Texas.
