A’s topple Yankees, 7-1
Andy Ragsdale pitched a complete game victory and the A’s remained
tied for first place in the Majors Division standings by virtue of a 7-1
victory over the Yankees in Ocean View Little League weekend action.
In addition to limiting the Yankees to a single run, Ragsdale struck
out six.
Dalton Hintz and Randy Guite led the way for the A’s as both went
three for four.

Ryan Christie went three for three to pace the offense and the one-two
pitching punch of Garrett Shinn and Brian Cassidy directed the Indians
over the Astros.
Indians 2, Astros 1
James Miller doubled and scored the winning run in the bottom of the
sixth inning to lead the Indians.
Diamondbacks 8, Mariners 3
Matt Fetters went two for two and Matt Ayster and Ryan Schulenberg
shared pitching duties to power the D-backs.
Michael Springer and Nick Shulenberg had key hits for the Mariners.
MINOR A DIVISION
Rockies 7, Mariners 3
Zack Graves turned in a strong defensive game, Matt Sluman went three
for three and Breck Wainwright went two for two as the Rockies stayed in
a four-way tie for first place with the Giants, Padres and A’s in the
race for the second half championship.

MINOR B DIVISION
Cardinals 6, A’s 2
Joe Sauastano and Travis Puegh each hit home runs to power the
Cardinals.
Diamondbacks 11, Reds 7
The victory gave the D-backs sole possession of the division lead.
