High school boys tennis: Tars drop league debut

Tyler Deck won two singles sets for Newport Harbor High, but the

Sailors fell to host Aliso Niguel, 15-3, in a Sea View League-opening

boys tennis match Tuesday.

No. 1 singles player Jonathon Tweena earned the Sailors’ only other point

in the team’s league opener. The Tars fell to 2-3.

Aliso Niguel is now 4-4.
