Prep baseball: Wilkins stays red hot
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO - Sage Hill High sophomore Tim Wilkins
continued an impressive three-game run, but host Capistrano Valley
Christian earned an 18-6 mercy rule-shortened Academy League baseball
victory Friday.
Wilkins went 2 for 3 with two runs and two stolen bases. In his last
three games, he is 6 for 10 with three runs and three steals. He also
pitched a complete-game victory during that stretch.
Five errors contributed to the Eagles’ triumph.
Sage Hill fell to 3-2, 1-1 in league. Capo Valley Christian is also
3-2, 1-1.
