College men’s tennis: UCI defeats No. 74 Central Florida

UC IRVINE - The UC Irvine men’s tennis team pulled off a minor
upset Thursday, topping 74th-ranked Central Florida, 5-2, in
nonconference action.
The Anteaters (6-10) won all three doubles matches for the first
point, while juniors Sean O’ Connor and Carl Lumsden, and freshmen Dontia
Haynes and Brian Morton all won in singles.
UCI hosts No. 55 Clemson Saturday at noon.
