Pet of the Week
Snickers is a 3-year-old Tabby cat that “has America’s favorite old
Tom Cat look with his big cheeks,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of
the Community Animal Network.
“He loves being a couch potato and having his big cheeks and chin
rubbed,” she said. “He was abandoned at a local vet hospital in Costa
Mesa and was going to be sent to the pound when [the animal network] was
called by one of the staff.”
The network also rescued 4-day-old kittens found in a brown paper bag
left on the doorstep of a shelter, Pfaff-Martin said. The kittens require
feedings around the clock at one- to two-hour intervals, she said. The
network needs bottle feeders and donations for kitten formula to handle
the new arrivals, she added.
