SATURDAY
Who’s the hero? South Coast Repertory will present Kenneth Lonergan’s
“Lobby Hero” through March 24 on the Mainstage, 655 Town Center Drive,
Costa Mesa. The comedy is about a night watchman who gets involved in a
murder case. Show times are 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 2:30 and 8
p.m. Saturdays, and 2:30 and 7 p.m. Sundays. $27-$52. (714) 708-5555.
SUNDAY
Go classical. Orange Coast College’s Symphony Orchestra will offer the
third concert of its 41st season at 7:30 p.m., with a program including
works by Felix Mendelssohn, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Gustav Host, at
the Robert B. Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Pianist
Brian Gould will be the featured soloist. $6 or $10. (714) 432-5880.
MONDAY
Look at art from the plains. Orange Coast College will hold an
exhibition of works by Los Angeles photographer Peter Brown through March
22 at the Photo Gallery in OCC’s Fine Arts Building. The show includes
Brown’s “Great Plains” series. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Mondays through Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays; 9 a.m. to 5

TUESDAY
Get creative. “Painters of Costa Mesa,” a show by 10 Costa Mesa
artists, will be on display through Friday at the Robert Mondavi Wine and
Food Center, 1570 Scenic Ave., Costa Mesa. The center is open 9 a.m. to

WEDNESDAY
Catch the Viennese exclusive. The Philharmonic Society of Orange
County will present the West Coast exclusive performance of the Vienna
Philharmonic at 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the Orange County
Performing Arts Center, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. $34-$109.
