BOATING FORECAST
The winds on the inner waters will be from the west and northwest at
10 to 20 knots through the morning and afternoon. Wind waves will be 1 to
3 feet on a west swell of 4 to 6. The winds will calm a bit at night, and
the waves and swell will both drop slightly.
On the outer waters, conditions will be unusually similar. The winds
will blow 10 to 20 knots from the northwest and west, and the waves will
be 1 to 3 feet. The swell will be stronger, 7 to 9 feet, and from the
northwest. At night, it all drops slightly.
SURF
After no surf, a bit of a northwest swell will hit today, pushing the
waves up a bit to the chest-high range in Newport. But, that rain left
runoff in the water. Probably not worth the risk.
