Surf and Sun
WEATHER FORECAST
The day will begin cloudy, turn a bit rainy, become a bit sunny and
then end up dark. But, then again, weather’s an imperfect science. But
there’s a good chance of rain in the early afternoon so at least bring
the umbrella with you, and hold on to it tight -- it’ll be breezy.
Highs will top off at about 60 today, while lows remain warm at about
53.
Friday’s looking sunnier and warmer, but the clouds won’t stray too
far.

BOATING FORECAST
The southwest winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters this
afternoon, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet. Showers are
predicted for this afternoon.
Later, winds will become northwesterly and will increase to 10 to 20
knots, with 1- to 3-foot waves and a west swell of 3 to 6 feet.
Out farther, the southwesterly winds will blow 10 to 20 knots, with 1-
to 3-foot waves and a west swell of 3 to 5 feet. The swell will build to
5 to 7 feet during the rainstorm.
Later, the winds will become northwesterly and will build to 15 to 25
knots, with 2- to 4-foot waves and a northwest swell of 7 to 9 feet.
SURF
The latest northwest swell will roll in today with surf expected in
the waist- to chest-high range. But the rain this morning should provide
a decent warning to those tempted to brave the filthy waters.
Size should increase into the chest- to head-high region when the
swell peaks today. Saturday will look similar to Friday.
