Boys tennis: Mesa edged

After battling to a 9-9 tie, the Costa Mesa High boys tennis team

fell to host Ocean View on games, 65-64, in a nonleague contest Monday.

Cuong Nguyen led the way in singles, earning, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0,

victories. Spencer Solomon and Billy Halverson also swept in singles for

Mesa (0-2). Ocean View improves to 1-3.
