Get biblical. St. Mark Presbyterian Church will present a professional
production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” through Sunday to benefit the
nondenominational Newport Community Counseling Center. Show times will be

Go plaid. Orange Coast College will present the Broadway musical
“Forever Plaid” at 4 p.m. at the Robert B. Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview
Road, Costa Mesa. The musical is about four unlikely heroes dreaming of

MONDAY
Listen to the winds. The Irvine Valley College Wind Symphony will
perform at 8 p.m. at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive,
Irvine. The symphony will share the concert with the Chaparral Middle

TUESDAY
Learn about anime. The Orange County Museum of Art will present
Tuesday Talks at Noon with Michael Darling. Darling, curator at the
Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, will speak about Japanese
anime. The talks will begin at noon. Free. The museum is at 850 San

WEDNESDAY
See the work of locals. “Painters of Costa Mesa,” a show by 10 Costa
Mesa artists, will be on display through March 15 at the Robert Mondavi
Wine and Food Center, 1570 Scenic Ave., Costa Mesa. The center is open
