Sam is a 5-year-old neutered male Irish wolfhound mixed with an

Australian shepherd, says DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder and organizer of

the Community Animal Network. The pet would make a great family dog, she

said.

Sam belonged to a senior citizen who died, Pfaff-Martin said.

“Please tell a friend about Sam, and let’s help get him a great new

home with some kids to play with. He’d love that,” she said.

Also, a calico female cat was abandoned recently at the Promontory

Point Villas. She is being fed by a good Samaritan, but she needs a home,

Pfaff-Martin said.
