WEATHER FORECAST
On this wonderful and sunny day, highs will fall just short of 80 in
Newport-Mesa. A breeze will pick up in the afternoon, but it should be a
bit weaker than that felt Thursday. Overnight lows will stay just above
50.
The sun should continue to stick around until Tuesday, though highs
will drop into the low 70s. Enjoy the weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots this afternoon in the
inner waters, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet. Later,
the winds will ease, generating 1-foot waves and a west swell of 3 to 5
feet.
Out farther, the westerly winds will blow light at 10 knots, with
1-foot waves and a northwest swell of 4 to 6 feet. By night, the winds
will become northwesterly and will pick up to 10 to 20 knots, with 1- to
3-foot waves and a northwest swell of 5 to 7 feet.
SURF
Today’s going to be warm, but surf’s going to be a bit small. That is,
in the waist-high range. It’ll be smaller Saturday but should pick up
with latest northwest swell of Sunday.
