Diabetes fund-raiser
The Hebrew Academy will hold a Diabetes Walkathon Fund-raiser. All
proceeds will be donated to the American Diabetes Assn. The event will
take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Feb. 19-22 at the Hebrew
Academy, 14401 Willow Lane. For information on participating or donating,

Feb. 20
Humanitarian Aid Project
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is beginning a
Humanitarian Aid Project at 7 p.m., Feb. 20 at 5402 Heil Ave. Guest
speaker Kitty de Ruyter will tell her story of life in a concentration
camp during WWII. Attendees may choose a kit to assemble and then ship to
the Latter-day Saints’ Church Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake City.
Choice of kit includes newborn kits and school kits. The kits will be
shipped to countries around the world where assistance is needed.

Women Aglow, a Christian women’s organization, meets at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Lutheran Church and School presents several programs, including
confirmation classes for seventh- and eighth-graders; Sunday School for
all ages; Special Needs Ministry for recently initiated children; Care
Connections for those who are frail, have dementia or require special
attention; weekly and monthly adult prayer; and Bible study and SHAPE
