keep us just above 60 degrees. The overnight lows will dip into the
mid-40s in Newport-Mesa. Friday and Saturday should be similar, while
Sunday’s looking even cooler.

BOATING FORECAST
Fog will kick off the morning in the inner waters. The southwesterly
winds will blow 10 to 15 knots, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 3
feet. The same will be encountered later. Fog will return late.
Out farther, expect areas of dense fog early. The northwesterly winds
will blow 10 to 15 knots, with 2-foot waves and a northwest swell of 6
feet. Areas of fog will return late.

After all, it just doesn’t look too good today with waves in the knee- to
waist-high range. Conditions should pick up to the chest-high range on
Friday, when the latest northwest swell rolls in.
