Boys basketball: Sage Hill triumphs
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO - Sage Hill High guard Erik Williams had 20
points and fellow junior teammate Mike Fitzhugh had 24 to lead the
visiting Lightning to a 65-48 Academy League triumph over Capistrano
Valley Christian Tuesday.
Williams, helping pick up the slack for injured starter Kevin Joyce,
out with a fractured wrist, had eight rebounds and four steals to help
the winners improve to 7-7, 4-3 in league.
Fitzhugh added five rebounds and four assists to set up a potential
battle for second place with St. Margaret’s, Friday at Sage Hill at 7:30
p.m.
