Anaheim Avenue: Possession of a controlled substance was reported in
the 1800 block at 9:40 p.m. Saturday.
Anton Boulevard: Trespassing was reported in the 600 block at 5:05
p.m. Saturday.
Bristol Street: A burglary was reported in the 3300 block at 3:45 p.m.
Friday.
Parsons Street and Victoria Street: Possession of a controlled
substance was reported at 4 a.m. Saturday.
West Baker Street: Drinking in public was reported in the 1500 block
at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
West 19th Street: Drinking in public was reported in the 1000 block at
2:35 p.m. Saturday.
Yukon Avenue: Grand theft exceeding $400 was reported in the 3000
block at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
NEWPORT BEACH:
Back Bay Drive: A boat burglary was reported in the 1100 block at 3:49
p.m. Friday.
Bristol Street and Birch: A male was arrested on suspicion of
possessing a controlled substance at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
Carnation Avenue: A suspicious subject was seen in the 700 block at
1:06 p.m. Saturday.
Dove Street: A woman’s laptop computer was stolen from her office in
the 1100 block at 8:38 a.m. Thursday.
Jamboree Road: Credit cards, a cell phone and a wristwatch were among
the items reported stolen from a Hyatt Newporter Hotel room in the 1100
block at 2:40 a.m. Friday.
Morning Canyon: Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the
300 block at 4:48 p.m. Friday.
Neptune: An IBM laptop computer, Palm Pilot and a massager were
reported stolen from a residence in the 5100 block at 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Onda: A burglary was reported in the 400 block at 7:09 p.m. Saturday.
Via Lido Soud: An unknown suspect reportedly smeared a pot pie on a
woman’s 2000 red GMC car and threw a bowl of rice on her balcony in the
500 block at 8:13 a.m. Saturday.
West 16th Street: Someone attempted to steal a vehicle in the 800
block at 10:06 a.m. Saturday.
