WEATHER FORECAST
It’s another beautiful day today and it will be again Saturday, as the
highs in Newport-Mesa will again approach the mid-70s. However, expect
the high to top out at about 73 or so. Overnight both nights, expect the
temperatures to stay in the upper 40s.
Expect cooler temperatures to reign the rest of the week. But no
rain’s anticipated, so that’s wonderful. Have a great weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
The northerly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots with 3-foot waves early
in the inner waters. This afternoon, the wind will let up to about 10
knots or less, and the waves will subside to about a foot. The west swell
will be 4 to 6 feet. The same is expected later this evening.
Out farther, the easterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots, with 2-foot
waves and a northwest swell of 9 to 11 feet. Later, the winds will blow
lighter, but the swell will stay steady.
SURF
Waves are expected in the waist- to chest-high range today, though
another northwest swell will stop by Saturday. It’s not as strong as the
last one, so no overheads are expected in Newport. Sunday’s looking even
smaller.
