Wrestling: Mustangs flatten Eagles
COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa High wrestling team opened the Pacific
Coast League dual season with a 47-18 victory over crosstown rival
Estancia on the Mustangs’ mats.
Costa Mesa’s Devant Xoai (125-pounds) and Matt Grubisich (135) scored
victories with pins, while Estancia’s Victor Carmona earned a major
decision win.
The Mustangs (2-0, 1-0 in the PCL) will compete at the Workman
Tournament Saturday.
