* South Coast Drive: A hit-and-run was reported in the 900 block at

* Victoria Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 500 block at

* East 17th Street: Petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 12:23
a.m. Sunday.

* Back Bay Drive and San Joaquin Hills Road: Several pieces of
equipment valued at about $16,000 were reported stolen from a business at
7:20 a.m. Sunday.
* Balboa Boulevard and River Avenue: Vandalism was reported at 11:10
p.m. Sunday.
* East Coast Highway: Rugs and tapestries worth about $4,000 were
reported stolen from a store in the 3400 block at noon Sunday.
* MacArthur Court: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 4600 block
at 5:17 p.m. Sunday.
* Newport Boulevard and Finley Avenue: Illegal fireworks were reported
at 9:18 p.m. Sunday.
