The Community Animal Network needs help in the way of adoptions and

donations, said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, the group’s founder.

“We need your Christmas donations desperately to continue working with

local animals,” said Pfaff-Martin, noting that the funding pays off

veterinarian bills.

While there’s usually a high supply of kittens, the public also wants

to adopt dogs, she said. The group’s Web site,o7

that are at the Santa Ana shelter, she said. The network is showing them

as a community service, she said.
