* Adams Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 1200 block at 1:48
p.m. Sunday.
* Center Street: An assault was reported in the 600 block at 1:05 p.m.
Sunday.
* Mesa Verde Drive East: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1500
block at 8:19 a.m. Sunday.
* Ogle Street: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 12:36 p.m.
Sunday.
* Peterson Place: A home burglary was reported in the 2700 block at
10:29 a.m. Sunday.
* Tanager Drive: A home burglary was reported in the 1800 block at
1:43 p.m. Sunday.
* Wallace Avenue: A home burglary was reported in the 2000 block at
2:05 p.m. Sunday.
* East 17th Street: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 100
block at 1:41 p.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Arroyo Park: A city sign was reported stolen from the softball field
at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
* West Bay Avenue: Property worth about $400 was reportedly stolen
from a car in the 1300 block at 12:39 p.m. Sunday.
* Baypointe: A stereo system and several compact discs estimated at
about $6,800 were reportedly stolen from a car in the 1100 block at 2:05
p.m. Sunday.
* West Coast Highway: Vandals reportedly knocked over a concrete water
fountain in front of a home in the 7000 block at 7:08 a.m. Saturday.
* MacArthur Boulevard and San Joaquin Hills Road: Christmas trees and
decorations were reported stolen at 1 p.m. Sunday.
* West Ocean Front: A rear license plate was reported stolen from a
vehicle parked in the 1600 block at 11 a.m. Sunday.
* Via Genoa: Vandals reportedly threw two dozen eggs and scratched at
a car parked in the 100 block at 2:37 p.m. Saturday.
* 33rd Street: A laptop was reportedly stolen from a home in the 100
block at 4 p.m. Saturday.
