SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or two beef or veggie tacos

with lettuce, cheese and salsa, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of

milk

WEDNESDAY

Vegetarian health sandwich or chicken tenders with dipping sauce,

crisp green salad with ranch dressing, cranberry harvest bread, choice of

fresh fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chalupa boat with shredded lettuce and salsa,

chips, choice of fruit, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken patty sandwich on a bun, veggie

sticks with ranch dip, fruit pie, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or two mini-cheeseburgers on buns with lettuce

and pickles, choice of fruit, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
