WEATHER FORECAST
While the day will start off cool and partly cloudy with breezy
conditions, there is one aspect of importance to note. There’s a slim
chance of showers early.
However, those aforementioned breezes will help clear out the clouds
and make most of the afternoon fairly sunny, though the temperatures will
remain cool. The high should top out at about 60 in Costa Mesa and 58 in
Newport Beach.
Overnight, the skies should remain mostly clear with lows dipping into
the mid-40s. It should be more sunny and less breezy on Tuesday, with
ever-so-slightly warmer temperatures.

BOATING FORECAST
In the inner waters, the northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 20 knots
early, with waves of 2 to 3 feet and a west swell of 5 to 8 feet. Not
much will change later.
A gale warning will be in effect out farther, where the northerly
winds will blow a strong 20 to 30 knots with combined seas of 11 feet.
Those winds will become northwesterly late, but will still blow 20 to 30
knots with combined seas of 13 to 15 feet.
SURF
The waves aren’t looking too good today as they’ll probably show up in
the knee- to waist-high range today. The rest of the week is shaping up
to be much of the same blah.
