Pyros come out ahead of Black Fire

The Pyros put out the Black Fire, 2-1, in an AYSO Region 57 boys

under-12 soccer game.

Greg Wolonsky put the Black Fire ahead early in the game, but Parker

Reed evened the score on a long direct kick high inside the left goal

post.

The Pyros took the lead in the second half when Reed assisted Ori

Tabak on a breakaway. Contributing on offense to the Pyros win were Karan

Sahni and John Lockhart. The defense was anchored by Chase Stark, Matt

Langel, Andrew Mason, Michael Hay and Austin Harms. Crisco Elliott was

solid in the net for the Pyros.

The Black Fire kept the pressure on with strong offense from Wolonsky,

Clay Knapp, Stewart Hagestad and the solid midfield play of Nick Taylor.
