Community college men’s basketball: OCC falls to Cuyamaca, 81-61

EL CAJON - The Orange Coast College men’s basketball team could not

overcome a 61-26 halftime deficit and lost, 81-61, to host Cuyamaca in

nonconference action Wednesday.

OCC freshman Jason Garey led the Pirates (1-7) with 20 points and 12

rebounds, while sophomore Ryan Webster also posted double figures with 12

points. Cuyamaca improved to 5-4.

The Pirates return to action Friday at 3 p.m. and will play at

Southwestern.
