Get jazzy. UC Irvine’s Jazz Orchestra will perform with jazz and blues
vocalist Ernie Andrews at 8 p.m. The university is at the corner of

SUNDAY
Get into the spirit. Vanguard University will hold its annual
“Christmas Fantasia” at 2 p.m. Sunday. The program will include
selections from Handel’s “Messiah” and songs of the holiday season. It
will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 600 St. Andrew’s Road

MONDAY
See it before it’s gone. Orange Coast College’s Fine Arts Gallery will
present “Spirit of Vietnam: Ancient Bronzes and Ceramics” through
Thursday. The exhibition will gather bronzes from the Dong Son culture
(fifth century BC) and ceramics from the Ly and Tran dynasties (11th and
15th century AD). Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through
Thursday and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The gallery is at 2701 Fairview

TUESDAY
Talk about art. Artist Daniel Joseph Martinez will speak at Orange
Coast College at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room 101 of OCC’s Art Village, 2701
Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. His lecture will include a presentation and
discussion of his work, which mixes performance, installation, video,

Say “Bah, humbug.” South Coast Repertory will present its 22nd annual
production of “A Christmas Carol” through Dec. 24 at 655 Town Center
