Crown to Newport

Newport Harbor’s club surfing team swept past the rest of its

league competition with ease in the league finals Tuesday morning as

Coach Scott Morlan’s team breezed in 2-4-foot waves.

Newport’s 38 points doubled runner-up Los Alamitos.
