*Abalone Lane and Tortuga Drive: Two male subjects trespassed into an
apartment complex’s racquetball court at 4:35 p.m. Sunday.
*Adams Avenue and Bushard Street: A male, 6 feet tall with blond hair,
wearing a blue shirt, sweater and shorts, was seen walking in a traffic
lane on Adams Avenue at 9:56 a.m. Saturday.
*Beach Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 16200 block at 9:12
a.m. Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard: Four or five juveniles were seen smoking marijuana
in a black Honda in the 19000 block at 10:55 a.m. Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard: An employee was found embezzling money in the 18900
block at 12:57 p.m. Saturday.
*Bolsa Chica Road and Heil Avenue: A male sitting on a sidewalk was
seen spitting at cars and pedestrians at 1:01 p.m. Saturday.
*Brittany Lane: Four juveniles, all wearing T-shirts and khaki pants,
were seen spitting and causing damage to vehicles in the 17600 block at
9:01 p.m. Sunday.
*Brush Drive: Someone wearing a flannel shirt and blue jeans, and
carrying a large red blanket tried to get into a house in the 8100 block
at 9:16 p.m. Sunday.
*Bushard Street and Yorktown Avenue: Someone found an artificial leg
leaning against a brick wall at 11:52 a.m. Sunday.
*Corsican Drive: A transient was reported to have broken into a
laundry room to sleep in the 7200 block at 8:51 p.m. Thursday. *Delaware
Street: A silver Honda Passport was found damaged in the 2000 block at
4:04 p.m. Sunday.
*Delaware Street: A stereo was taken from a green Toyota Corolla in
the 2200 block at 6:07 p.m. Thursday.
*England Street: A resident found their garage door spray painted
black in the 1200 block at 8:52 a.m. Friday.
*Goldenwest Street and Yorktown Avenue: Five people were seen fighting
in a McDonald’s parking lot at 5:25 p.m. Thursday.
*Holly Street: A woman’s vehicle was egged in the 19100 block at 6:26
p.m. Sunday.
*Hoskins Street: A male transient was sitting in a woman’s driveway
when she arrived home in the 16700 block at 9:33 p.m. Friday.
*Huntington Street: Suitcases were stolen from a house in the 200
block at 6:48 p.m. Sunday.
*Keelson Lane: A resident heard someone trying to break into a silver
GMC truck in the 17300 block at 1:54 a.m. Friday.
*Larchwood Drive: Four male juveniles all dressed in black were seen
slashing the tires of a Ford truck in the 6300 block at 7:56 p.m. Friday.
*Lincoln Avenue and Florida Street: A male was seen running into a
gated apartment complex at 10:19 a.m. Thursday.
*Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway: Someone was seen putting
stickers on the windows of businesses at 3:16 a.m. Friday.
*Major Circle: A 1993 green Saturn had its back window broken and a
compact disc player, backpack and stereo were stolen in the 8100 block at
8:06 a.m. Friday.
*Meadowlark Drive: A silver Mitsubishi Montero had its rear window
smashed in the 5900 block at 10:17 a.m. Sunday.
*Newland Street and Pacific Coast Highway: A 1998 white Ford Econoline
van was reported stolen at 4:39 p.m. Friday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A male and female walked out of a motel
without paying in the 16200 block at 3:50 p.m. Sunday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: Six subjects were drinking and breaking beer
bottles in the 21000 block at 12:47 a.m. Saturday.
*Pacific Coast Highway and Goldenwest Street: A man’s keys, wallet,
pager and clothing were stolen from his vehicle at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
*Prestwick Circle: A resident chased four people off his lawn in the
8100 block at 7:43 p.m. Friday.
*Queens Lane: Juveniles were throwing eggs at an apartment in the
17400 block at 4:58 p.m. Sunday.
*Royalist Drive: Two stray pit bulls tried to attack another dog in
the 6200 block at 11:12 a.m. Sunday.
*Vatcher Drive: A resident reported suspicious noises around the house
in the 6300 block at 9:22 p.m. Thursday.
*Wakefield Lane: A woman and her dog were attacked, but not injured,
in the 18000 block at 11:11 a.m. Saturday.
*Warner Avenue: A vehicle was taken from a city parking structure in
the 7800 block at 6:22 p.m. Sunday.
*Warner Avenue: Three males threw a street pylon at a vehicle,
damaging the vehicle’s antenna and side window in the 5000 block at 1:55
a.m. Saturday.
*Warner Avenue: A male transient wearing blue coveralls was seen in
the parking lot in the 5200 block at 3:44 a.m. Saturday.
*Yorktown Avenue: A man holding a newspaper was seen loitering for 10
to 15 minutes in the 9800 block at 9:06 a.m. Friday.
