WEATHER FORECAST
The sun will shine throughout the day today creating a high of about
71 in Costa Mesa and 68 in Newport Beach. Overnight, lows will dip into
the high 50s under mostly starry skies.
Expect much of the same Saturday and Sunday with slightly higher
daytime temperatures.

BOATING FORECAST
In the inner waters, the westerly winds will blow light throughout the
day at about 10 knots or less, with waves of a foot and a swell of 4
feet. Patchy fog will be dense both early and late.
A small craft advisory continues to prevail out farther as the
northwesterly winds blow about 15 knots, with waves of 2 feet, and a 10-
to 12-foot swell. It will also be dense both early and late.
SURF
Another northwest swell will roll in today, bringing chest- to
head-high waves. The surf will begin to subside Saturday with waist- to
shoulder-highs, with the occasional head-highs. Sunday will present even
smaller surf, which won’t be too shabby in the waist- to chest-high
range.
