*Adams Avenue: Juveniles inside a gold Mitsubishi car appeared to be
selling items in the 9800 block at 1:10 p.m. Thursday.
*Adams Avenue: About 50 children refused to let a man inside his car
in the 10000 block at 10 p.m. Friday.
*Adams Avenue: A wallet and keys were reported stolen out of a gym
locker in the 8800 block at 9:27 a.m. Thursday.
*Argosy Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported in the 5300 block at 9:17
a.m. Thursday.
*Beach Boulevard and Garfield Avenue: A male in a wheelchair and
another male with a sleeping bag were both standing in the median
panhandling for money at 1:24 p.m. Thursday.
*Beach Boulevard: A watch was reported stolen in the 19900 block at
11:40 a.m. Sunday.
*Birdie Lane: Someone was looking into people’s windows in the 16300
block at 6:16 p.m. Thursday.
*Bolsa Chica Road and Heil Avenue: A female was reported walking in
the middle of the road at 12:40 p.m. Sunday.
*California Street: A resident reported that her roommate stole her
credit cards and driver’s license in the 2000 block at 8:44 p.m. Friday.
*Dorsett Drive: A next door neighbor saw three males in a house and
reported it at 2:09 p.m. Sunday in the 8800 block.
*Edwards Street and Edinger Avenue: Two women were fighting at the
Unocal 76 gas station at 10:14 p.m. Thursday.
*Garfield Avenue and Bushard Street: Girls in a car threw eggs at the
driver of another car, hitting the driver in the face, at 11:22 p.m.
Friday.
*Goldenwest Street: A male in his 50s, with gray hair, 6-feet tall,
weighing 180 pounds was reported for trespassing in the 17200 block at
5:43 p.m. Friday.
*Grunion Lane: A man reported his vehicle’s tires had been slashed in
the 16500 block at 10:31 a.m. Thursday.
*Hartlund Street: A burglary occurred in the 18200 block at 5:03 p.m.
Friday.
*Huntington Street: A woman called police saying unknown persons keep
entering her house and destroying her property in the 100 block at 1:40
p.m. Friday.
*Kingfisher Drive: A woman reported her car had been vandalized in the
8300 block at 12:54 p.m. Thursday.
*Main Street and Beach Boulevard: A male in his late 50s, pushing a
shopping cart, was reported for indecent exposure at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
*McFadden Street and Goldenwest Street: A compact disc player was
reported stolen out of a silver Mercedes Benz at 8:47 a.m. Friday.
*Northbound Santa Ana River Bed: Two males 20 to 25 were reported
tagging school buildings at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A gray Jeep Cherokee had graffiti painted on
it in the 16200 block at 7:41 a.m. Wednesday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: Residents in an apartment complex were
reportedly using drugs in the 17100 block at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday.
*Rapids Drive: The resident heard her downstairs sliding door open and
reported it to police in the 7700 block at 3:52 a.m. Sunday.
*Tamiko Circle: A purse was reported stolen out of a vehicle in the
17600 block at 2:50 p.m. Saturday.
*10th Street: Someone stole surfboards out of a man’s house in the 500
block at 12:32 p.m. Sunday.
*Telham Drive: A truck was reported stolen from the 9600 block at 4:37
p.m. Wednesday.
*13th Street and Lake Street: Four subjects threw rocks at cars as
they drove by at 10:48 p.m. Sunday.
*Vicksburg Drive: Subjects entered a house and began taking things in
the 9800 block at 6:54 p.m. Thursday.
*Warner Avenue: A gas station attendant reported that someone used a
crowbar to break into the station at 7:15 a.m. Saturday in the 5900
block.
*Yorktown Avenue and Goldenwest Street: People were reported jumping
on cars as the cars went through a Del Taco drive through at 3:41 a.m.
Sunday.
