WEATHER FORECAST
The morning dawns as another comfortable Southern California morning
with a mixture of sun and clouds, with temperatures starting in the high
50s and climbing into the 60s by midmorning.
Although the temperature will stay in the 60s throughout the day, it
should feel a good 10 degrees warmer around the noon hour. The sun and
clouds will fight for position all day.
Once the sun sets, it will be back to the low 60s and high 50s.
BOATING FORECASTThe winds will be a light breeze blowing less than
10 knots from varying directions during the early morning with patchy
areas of fog. By afternoon, the winds will still be a mere 10 knots but
will be coming out of the south-southwest. Relatively calm seas can be
expected with waves less than a foot and the sea swelling a mere 4 feet.
Winds could kick up to a light 10 to 20 knots out of the
south-southwest at night with a light chance of rain.
SURF
It will start out small this morning but a heavy marine layer should
make for decent conditions. Good news for those late risers, a northwest
swell should be filling in throughout the day. Although north of us can
expect to see some energy by late morning, it won’t make it down here
until a bit later in the day. But when it blows in, we can expect some
chest- to shoulder-high sets.
