WEATHER FORECAST
Partly sunny skies should dominate today with highs in the low 70s in
Costa Mesa and the high 60s in Newport Beach. It should be clear
overnight, though lows will drop into the high 50s.
It should warm up a bit Thursday, though it’s looking to be a cool and
cloudy weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will start off light today in the inner waters.
Waves will be in the 1-foot range with a west swell of 4 feet. The winds
should remain in the 10-knot range throughout the day. There will be
areas of dense fog early and late.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the
afternoon with waves of 2 feet and a northwest swell of 9 feet. The winds
will die down a bit later in the evening. Again, expect dense fog.
SURF
A northwest swell will bring about surf in the waist- to shoulder-high
range today. Thursday will produce small waves, but they’ll pick up
Friday and should look great Sunday.
