Frederick was raised by one of the Community Animal Network’s foster
homes that included kids and a lot of love, said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin,
founder and organizer of the network. His gray sideburns behind each ear
give him a very distinguished look for his 6 months of age, she said. He
never tires of life, love or play, Pfaff-Martin said.
The network has been unable to help many dogs because it relies on
local people to house them and most are wary of taking an unknown shelter
dog into their home, she said. To help dogs, o7
https://www.animalnetwork.orgf7 is now offering free 30-day ads to help
people who need to find new homes for their dogs before they are forced
to give them up to a shelter. An adoption fee would be paid by the new
family if placed, she said.
Tax-deductible donations are desperately needed, Pfaff-Martin added.
See other animals for adoption at the Web site or at Russo’s pet store at
Fashion Island between noon and 4 p.m. on weekends.
