WEATHER FORECAST
It’ll be yet another cool August day as the high hovers just above 70.
What is this? Early October? Whatever it is, the sun will make it a point
to peek through today and should do so most of the afternoon.
But the clouds aren’t going anywhere. Overnight, expect a low of about
62. Still not quite in the 50s.
Expect warmer conditions Friday and into the Labor Day weekend. Enjoy
the last hurrah.

BOATING FORECAST
After patches of morning fog in the harbor, a southwest wind of 10 to
15 knots will blow in, generating 2-foot waves and a south swell of 5
feet in the afternoon. The wind will become lighter at night with similar
conditions.
The same conditions can be expected out farther, though a northwest
swell of 7 feet is expected. The same will be encountered at night,
though the fog will roll in late.
SURF
And the bad surf is here as knee- to waist-highs roll in along with
the occasional shoulder-highs. Don’t expect them to get too much larger
any time soon, though some 5-footers may drop by on Friday.
