WEATHER FORECAST
It’ll get sunnier sooner today, more than likely before noon. It won’t
get much warmer than the what turned out to be a beautiful Thursday with
today’s high of 76 degrees, but it should feel warmer.
The UV index will stay up around 9 for about three hours during the
height of the afternoon, so feel inclined to slap on some sunscreen while
catching the rays.
The clouds won’t cover too much overnight, allowing it to stay warm at
65. Expect much of the same conditions Saturday. Keep smiling.
BOATING FORECAST
In the harbor, the typical western winds will blow 10 to 15 knots,
creating waves of 2 feet and a mixed west-southwest swell of 3 feet. Some
dense fog will dot the harbor in the morning. Not much will change into
the evening and night, and the dense fog will return.
Out farther, the day will kick off with northwestern winds of 10 to 15
knots and eventually increase to about 20 knots in the afternoon. That
will lead to a mixed northwest and southwest swell of about 5 feet.
Patchy fog will start off the morning and end the night. Not much will
change windwise come nightfall.
SURF
The waves are still producing as today’s are expected to roll in as 3-
to 5-footers with the occasional 6-footer. The conditions will be
something between good and fair. Now’s the time to surf, though, as
Saturday’s conditions shrink a bit. Enjoy.
