American Eagle Outfitters, one of the country’s most successful

lifestyle stores, has opened at South Coast Plaza. American Eagle

Outfitters has been especially popular with teens, college students and

twentysomethings. Its lifestyle collection includes basics such as

khakis, cargos and denim, with tops such as rugbys, polls and plaids. The

store’s clothing has become even more popular since it became the

official clothing on “Dawson’s Creek,” and is seen this season on MTV’s

“Road Rules 10” and was the chosen wardrobe for four of Miramax’s films.

The American Cancer Discovery Shop will have its summer storewide sale

this weekend. Everything in the shop is reduced 25%. “This means all

clothing, accessories, knickknacks, shoes and furniture,” says Gloria

Godfrey at the Discovery Shop. “Nothing will be held back. The best buys

will be available early, and there will be free coffee and cookies baked
