Obituary
Marion C. Bradford, a Newport Beach resident for 45 years, died Friday
of natural causes. She was 96.
The homemaker was born April 12, 1905 in Merrimac, Wis..
Mrs. Bradford is survived by sons Peter C. and George M. Bradford;
daughter Linda B. Patton; and four grandchildren.
Services have been made private.
Bette (Rogers) Haigh
Bette (Rogers) Haigh, a Corona del Mar resident between 1928 and 1946
and again when she returned in 1992, died Friday. She was 76.
The homemaker was born July 13, 1925 in Corona. In 1946, she married
high school sweetheart Bob Haigh. She was active in Child Help USA and
was a member of the Balboa Bay Club.
Mrs. Haigh is survived by husband Bob Haigh; sons Roger, John and Jim
Haigh; and grandchildren Stephanie, Will, Carin, Kim and Christopher.
Cryptside service will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park in
Newport Beach at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to Child Help USA, based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Catherine “Kay” Perry Manning
Catherine “Kay” Perry Manning, a 41-year Costa Mesa resident, died
July 21. She was 68.
The retired teacher was born to educators Lois and Harold Perry on
Aug. 13, 1932 in Los Angeles.
Mrs. Manning is survived by husband William E. Perry; brother Mayo A.
Perry; daughters Laura Hayes, Jennifer Manning, Deborah Cohen; son John
Manning; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Pacific View Memorial Park
Chapel in Newport Beach at 3 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to the Yosemite Fund or another charity.
